He moved to Syria along with his wife and daughter in 2015. Kiram was a member of a Philippines-based militant group that pledged alliance to ISIS and trained recruits in 2014.
Police in the Philippines suspect him as responsible for the Zamboanga, Philippines bus bombing in 2012.
