Dar was designated for acting for or on behalf of Lashkar-e Tayyiba (LeT).
He is the Joint Secretary of the Milli Muslim League (MML), and formerly an officer in LeT’s student wing, the Al-Muhammadiya Students (AMS) – an alias of LeT.
As of early 2016, Dar provided first aid and firefighting instruction at an LeT training camp. This camp also included training on weapon skills and assault tactics.
